To celebrate the release of their new album, The Law Of Augmenting Returns, The Omnific—hailed as the world’s most prominent bass-driven instrumental rock act—will be taking their electrifying live show across Australia this September. Fresh off their mesmerizing performance at the UK’s Radar Festival in Manchester, where they captivated a new legion of fans, The Omnific are set to continue their European tour before returning home with newly announced support acts for their Australian dates.
The Law Of Augmenting Returns has been a game-changer in the progressive music scene, showcasing mind-bending tracks like "Matrices," "Base Camp," "Will-O’-The-Wisp," and "Phat Mackerel." This album has flipped the progressive music world on its head with its remarkable displays of musicianship. "Will-O'-The-Wisp," for example, takes listeners on an eight-minute journey through distant realms, its galloping chorus licks and orb-pondering atmosphere twisting and turning in a near-mystical experience.
What sets The Omnific apart is their wholly unique approach to songwriting, featuring the unorthodox lineup of two bass guitars and drums—no traditional guitars or vocals. This combination results in music of grandiose proportions, marked by bone-crushing riffs, memorable choruses, and eerie, dreamlike sequences. Their sound is unlike anything else, and it's completely captivating, appealing to a wide range of musical tastes.
On their new record, this powerful trinity of bass and drums has pushed their creative boundaries to unprecedented heights. The result is a tremendous body of work that traverses the intense, the emotionally charged, and even the humorous, all while maintaining a deep connection with their audience.
This August, The Omnific will be blazing a trail through Europe and the UK on their first-ever summer festival run, along with their most extensive array of headline shows in Europe to date. Their festival appearances include highly anticipated debut performances at Radar (UK), Vagos (PT), Brutal Assault (CZ), Arctangent (UK), and Fekete Zaj (HU). Led by their two other-worldly intertwining bassists, Matt Fack and Toby Peterson-Stewart, and backed by the flamboyant drummer Jerome Lematua, The Omnific—often dubbed "The Bass Boys"—will be bringing a full tank of charisma, showmanship, and unbelievable technical performances from down under.
When they return to Australia, they'll be primed to deliver unforgettable performances so don't miss out!!
